The 2024 Tony Award Nominations Announced

Nominations for the 2024 American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards®
Presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing

The 2024 Tony Award nominations were announced this morning, celebrating a season that just concluded five days ago. It was a big theatrical year, for both new musicals and plays with the Public Theater’s Broadway transfer of Hell’s Kitchen and the Playwrights Horizons’ Broadway transfer of Stereophonic topping the list of nominees with 13 each. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

The Nominating Committee attends all productions during the Broadway season and meets on the date designated by the Administration Committee to determine, by vote, the Tony Award nominees for that season. The 2023-2024 committee of the Tony Nominators will include 60 members. Members of the committee serve a three-year term.
