With all the focus on the Tony Award nominations, it’s great to hear about The Theatre World Awards that were announced since week. These 12 performers are making their to the New York stage and will be celebrated at the 75th annual ceremony on June 3. The awards recognize those who have made Broadway or Off-Broadway debuts or delivered breakout performances over the course of the season.The Theatre World Awards Announced

Paddy Considine (The Ferryman)
James Davis (Oklahoma!)
Micaela Diamond (The Cher Show)
Simone Missick (Paradise Blue)
Colton Ryan (Girl From the North Country)
Stephanie Styles (Kiss Me, Kate).
Earlier this week, Pope and Considine received Tony Award nominations for their Broadway debuts. The former was double-nominated, also recognized for his work in Ain’t Too Proud.
Additionally, Nathan Lane, currently on Broadway in Gary: A Sequel to Titus Andronicus, will receive the John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre. This year’s Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theater recipient will be announced at a later date.
